The Illustrious Collection showcases one of the most cherished traditions at Spelman College: The March Through the Alumnae Arch. Alumnae wearing the traditional white attire walk through the iconic Alumnae Arch and line the path, eagerly awaiting to welcome and congratulate their sisters. As graduating seniors pass beneath the arch, they symbolically transition from students to alumnae, joining the ranks of their accomplished predecessors.
